   Steve Burchfiel, Founder and President
Steve started Correct Designs as an independent consulting company in July, 1999. Since that time, Steve consulted in the field of verification reuse with Fortune 500 companies. As the company has grown, Steve took on two senior level managers and incorporated in September, 2000. Steve has over 13 years of industry experience designing, verifying, and managing hardware and software product designs. Prior to founding Correct Designs, Steve was a senior partner at Silicon Resources. At Silicon Resources Steve architected and managed the development of half of an Internet based tool set called Silver in addition to consulting with clients on verification. Silver was successfully demonstrated in conjunction with IBM at DAC98. Prior to his senior level management position at Silicon Resources, Steve worked at IBM. At IBM, Steve successfully managed a large verification team and led a number of technical projects. During his eight years at IBM, Steve worked on the design and verification of System 390 mainframes, RS6000s, and PowerPC-based systems holding various positions on each. Prior to starting at IBM, Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota in 1989.
