Will has personally developed more than 200,000 lines of Specman-e, C/C++ and perl code and led the development of well over one million lines of software. After receiving his BSEE and BSCSE from the University of Massachusetts in 1990, Will went to work as a programmer for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY where he wrote software for robotic tools running on the mainframe manufacturing line. In 1992 Will moved to Burlington, VT where he was IBM's verification tools lead for the 615 microprocessor. Will had the responsibility of architecting and developing the software for the logic simulation test bench as well as the simulation farm submission and fail tracking environments. In 1996 Will relocated to Austin for his third and final tour of duty with IBM. At IBM Austin Will was the lead architect for the Power4 Giga Processor chip simulation environment where he led a team of approximately 20 programmers. After leaving IBM Will has worked with many Correct Designs clients assisting them with verification methodology, verification environment architecture, environment development and training. Products that Will has worked on for Correct Designs include, 10G network processors, gaming chips, microprocessors and medical devices. The education and direction he provides to his clients' engineering teams in matters of verification, software architecture and 'e' programming techniques has been invaluable. A certified Specman Elite Basic/Advanced Training Instructor since 2001, Will has trained nearly one thousand engineers in the use of Specman and Verification Methodology.
